About the Role

We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our high-performing finance team. In this role, you'll partner closely with operational leaders, providing financial insight and strategic advice that supports informed decision-making and drives business performance across a complex, multi-site environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, influencing outcomes and delivering commercial value.

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will:

  • Partner with operational leaders to develop budgets, forecasts and business plans.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to support operational and commercial decision-making.
  • Deliver financial modelling and analysis for projects, tenders, acquisitions and business development opportunities.
  • Identify financial risks, opportunities and alternative commercial solutions.
  • Analyse cost allocation, profitability, margins, volumes and customer performance.
  • Review debtor positions, arrears and provisions for doubtful debts.
  • Prepare pricing models, quarterly joint venture tax returns and monthly Board reporting.
  • Analyse financial trends and performance variances, including rate and volume analysis.
  • Coach and support leaders on financial policies, governance and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards and corporate governance requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance financial processes and reporting.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • CA or CPA qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Finance Business Partner or commercial finance role within a complex, multi-site organisation.
  • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across all levels of the business.
  • Well-developed commercial acumen and the ability to identify opportunities that improve business performance.
  • Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, business cases and financial models.
  • Confidence presenting financial information to operational and senior stakeholders in a clear and meaningful way.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience using ERP systems such as JDE and VRP highly regarded.
