Payroll Officer (6 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

We're looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our People & Culture team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team during an exciting period, following the recent implementation of Dayforce.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services while providing excellent support to employees and stakeholders across the business.

What you'll be doing

As Payroll Officer, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end processing of payroll, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. You'll also work closely with the broader People & Culture team to resolve payroll queries and support the continued embedding of our Dayforce payroll system.

What you'll bring

You'll be an experienced payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a high level of accuracy and customer service. You'll also bring:

• Previous experience processing end-to-end payroll

• Multi Award / EA Experience

• Managing employee payroll enquiries through the payroll mailbox.

• Strong Analytical Skills

• Experience working with high-volume payrolls

• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, awards and compliance requirements

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• A collaborative approach and strong stakeholder communication skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

• Experience using Dayforce or a similar HRIS/payroll system will be highly regarded
