The purpose of the Activation Executive is to deliver best-in-class media activation planning and buying across all channels, ensuring campaigns consistently achieve agreed objectives while demonstrating a strong understanding of the Australian media landscape.
Working closely with the Senior Activation Executive and Activation Manager, you'll help deliver exceptional client outcomes and high-quality work. You'll also play an important role in the day-to-day development and mentoring of the Activation Coordinator.
Your scope will include:
- Collaborate with Client Service teams to develop activation plans and media recommendations across all channels, including digital.
- Negotiate, buy and implement approved media campaigns, ensuring all activity is delivered in line with campaign objectives.
- Monitor campaign performance and support ongoing optimisation to maximise results.
- Prepare timely, accurate campaign reporting and provide performance insights where appropriate.
- Oversee campaign implementation, ensuring campaigns launch on time and all proofs, trafficking and reporting requirements are completed accurately.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, media owners and external partners.
- Develop a strong understanding of the Australian media landscape, market trends and client industries to inform campaign recommendations.
- Attend training sessions and actively build knowledge of media tools, systems and industry best practice.
- Support the day-to-day development and mentoring of the Activation Coordinator.
- Contribute positively to Spark Foundry's culture by living the agency's values and delivering high-quality work.
Campaign Delivery & Activation
- Execute media buys across digital and offline channels in line with approved plans.
- Monitor campaign pacing, performance and delivery to ensure campaign objectives are achieved.
- Implement campaign optimisations under the guidance of senior team members.
- Ensure all campaign implementation is accurate, timely and completed to a high standard.
- Prepare campaign reporting, including performance summaries and key insights.
- Support campaign reconciliations and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
- Escalate campaign delivery issues proactively and work collaboratively to resolve them.

- Support the delivery of campaigns within approved budgets.
- Manage campaign financial administration, including reconciliations and budget tracking.
- Ensure accuracy across financial reporting and campaign documentation.
- Resolve finance-related queries in a timely manner.
- Maintain strong attention to detail across all commercial and campaign administration.
People
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, media partners and clients.
- Support the ongoing coaching and development of the Activation Coordinator.
- Communicate proactively and professionally with stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively across teams to deliver high-quality client outcomes.
- Demonstrate accountability and ownership of campaign delivery.

Skills & Competencies
- Minimum 12 months' experience in a Media Coordinator role or at least 1 year in a similar Activation Executive position.
- Good understanding of the Australian media landscape.
- Experience across media planning, buying and campaign activation.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and financial accuracy.
- Strong numerical and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and competing deadlines.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Passion for media, innovation and emerging industry trends.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
