Corin Australia is seeking a motivated and positive individuals to join our team ofSurgical Planning Engineers based inPymble, Sydney. In this role you are responsible for generating surgical plans for to be used for Total Hip Arthroplasty surgery. This includes the anatomical landmarking and segmentation of X-rays and CT scans to create of patient specific plans used by orthopaedic surgeons.

This exciting opportunity provides in-depth exposure to the medical device industry and places you on the forefront of innovative technologies that benefit patient outcomes.

Please note the expected start date for this role is mid-August, in a full-time capacity working from our Pymble office. Please only apply if this is suitable for you.

To be successful you will need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical engineering, health care or other scientific disciplines.
  • Extensive on the job training will be provided, however the ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, spatial awareness, be analytic & process driven.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with individuals and a good team player
  • Ability to adapt to change efficiently and prioritise your workload to meet strict production deadlines
  • Exceptional computer literacy is a must, including strong knowledge and experience within the Microsoft Office suite of applications

To be highly regarded for this role you will ideally have:

  • A strong understanding of Pelvis and Femur anatomy, although full training will be provided
  • Familiarity with the Total Hip Arthroplasty
  • Experience within customer service, corporate or office setting
  • An understanding of 3D geometry mathematics and/ or experience with 3D CAD (SolidWorks) and segmentation (Simpleware, ScanIP) software
