National Account Manager, Australia
About the Role:
Dr. Squatch is looking for a commercially driven Account Manager to lead our relationships with Australia's largest grocery retailers, Coles and Woolworths.
Reporting into the International team, you'll be responsible for developing customer relationships, delivering best-in-class joint business plans, executing commercial initiatives and ensuring flawless activation of Dr. Squatch's global growth strategy within the Australian market.
This is a highly collaborative role. You'll work closely with teams across the US and International business to localise global innovation, marketing campaigns and customer strategies for Australian retailers, ensuring they deliver maximum impact for shoppers and customers.
The ideal candidate will bring 5-8 years of FMCG account management experience, ideally within health & beauty or personal care, alongside a proven ability to build trusted customer relationships and deliver sustainable commercial growth.

This is a full-time role based in Australia (Sydney preferred). The position will be remote with travel as needed to retailers.
Compensation is base salary plus superannuation and bonus opportunity. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Account Management
- Own the commercial relationship with Coles and Woolworths, becoming a trusted partner to key customer stakeholders.
- Deliver sustainable sales growth through excellent customer management, commercial execution and collaborative planning.
- Identify opportunities to expand distribution, improve visibility and unlock incremental growth across the category.

Joint Business Planning
- Develop and execute annual Joint Business Plans aligned to customer strategies and Dr. Squatch's growth ambitions.
- Lead promotional planning, assortment reviews and commercial discussions with retail partners.
- Monitor performance and recommend actions to maximise sales, profitability and category growth.

Local Market Activation
- Partner with the US and International teams to localise global innovation launches, marketing campaigns and commercial initiatives for the Australian market.
- Ensure global strategies are adapted effectively to meet local customer and shopper needs.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution to deliver flawless launches and retail activation.

Commercial Planning & Forecasting
- Support customer forecasting, promotional planning and sales analysis to deliver strong in-market execution.
- Manage customer budgets and promotional investment to maximise commercial return.
- Monitor KPIs, identify risks and opportunities, and provide regular performance updates.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and International teams to ensure seamless delivery of customer plans.
- Champion the voice of Australian customers internally and share market insights to influence future planning.
- Build strong relationships across global teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.

Category & Shopper Growth
- Use customer, shopper and category insights to identify opportunities that drive growth for both retailers and Dr. Squatch.
- Support innovation launches and range expansion by developing compelling customer sell-in stories.
- Help establish Dr. Squatch as the leading premium men's personal care brand within Australian retail.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of FMCG account management experience, ideally within health & beauty, personal care or adjacent consumer goods categories.
- Proven experience managing major Australian retailers, ideally Coles and Woolworths.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience building Joint Business Plans and delivering sustainable account growth.
- Experience managing forecasts, promotional plans and customer investment.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence both customers and internal stakeholders.
- Highly collaborative, with experience working across international or matrix organisations.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence using data to inform commercial decisions.
- Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent commercial experience.
