Job Description
Location: Geraldton Port
Roster: 7 Days, 7 Off, 7 Nights, 7 Off - 12 hour shifts
Hourly Rate: $69.46 per hour + Superannuation + Bonus
Employment Type: Fulltime Permanent
Our Port Operations are a critical part of our integrated pit-to-port business, with over 400,000 tonnes of storage capacity and the ability to export more than 5 million tonnes annually. As a Fixed Plant Fitter, you'll help keep the equipment that powers our export operations running safely and reliably.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Routine maintenance and repairs for fixed plant equipment to ensure continuous operation.
- Breakdown response and fault diagnosis to minimise downtime at the Port, including responding to trailer tipping issues.
- Component replacements and mechanical adjustments to improve plant efficiency.
- Preventative maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce failures.
- Collaboration with boilermakers and electricians on major repairs and infrastructure upgrades.
Required Skill and Experience
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate
- Work Safely at Heights Ticket
- Confined Space Ticket
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Meet all pre-employment requirements, including medical, drug and alcohol screening, and National Police Clearance.
