Personnel Area: Corporate Services Branch: People and Culture Salary Range: Band 1 $70,296 - $74,624 + Superannuation (Remuneration stated is for the full-time positions) Work type: Temporary Part-time Duration: 27 November 2026 Location: Brisbane Square Brisbane City Council is recruiting for its award-winning DisAbility Action at Work (DAaW) program. This program matches work ready skilled people living with disability into temporary work placements within a supportive and engaging work environment. Are you: a person with disability wanting to build on your current experience and/or studies a person with disability who is work ready and prepared to re/enter the workforce in a professional environment a person with disability looking to build professional networks and develop skills that will enhance your career? Council is seeking people who are keen to take on a valuable growth opportunity commencing in August 2026 through to November 2026. Participants work across a wide range of teams/disciplines, matched to their skills and interests. For example: Development Services Master Data ICT Services Ecology and conservation management Warehouse and Logistics Library Services Arts and Community Development Compliance and Regulatory Services Fleet Solutions This is a part time, paid position working 2.5 days per week. Successful applicants will need to be able to commit to the start date 17 August and to the Monday half day Career Development workshops. Please note: in order to be considered for the DAAW program, an applicant must identify as having a verified disability this expression of interest is for a 14-week paid work placement. There is no guarantee of the answers you providethroughout the application process will assist in identifying work opportunities.
