About the role

We are seeking an experienced and safetyfocused Supervisor (Mechanical or Electrical), and we welcome strong Leading Hands looking to step up.
This role will support operations across Burnie and Hobart, delivering maintenance, shutdown, and project activities for our Tasmanian clients.

You will lead work groups, coordinate daytoday activities, and ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high technical standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate mechanical or electrical crews across Burnie and Hobart.
  • Ensure work is delivered safely, on schedule, and in line with site standards.
  • Support planning, work allocation, risk assessments and daily safety activities.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams to maintain smooth operations.
  • Promote a positive, safetydriven work culture and mentor team members.

About You

  • Extensive experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance, project or shutdown environments.
  • Confident supervising teams or eager to step up from a Leading Hand position.
  • Strong commitment to safety, communication, and teamwork.
  • Able to travel between Burnie and Hobart as required (travel support can be discussed).
  • Comfortable working in fastpaced industrial settings with a focus on quality execution.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Relevant Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification (highly desirable).
  • Current highrisk licences and competencies relevant to your trade.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising, leading or mentoring crews.
  • Ability to complete sitespecific inductions, online training and preemployment checks.
