Apply Job no: PM4TY Category: Indirect Technical Solutions Manager Transform Innovative packaging concepts into world-class manufacturing solutions Detmold is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Technical Solutions Manager to lead our Technical Solutions team and work closely with New Product Development, Operations, Procurement and Sales to ensure innovative packaging products are successfully transitioned into manufacturing. The role provides technical leadership across our international manufacturing network, supporting product industrialisation, process optimisation, manufacturing capability and continuous improvement across Australia, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, India and the Philippines. This is a unique opportunity for a senior technical leader from the paper, packaging, converting, printing or FMCG manufacturing sector to make a genuine impact on product innovation, manufacturing capability and business performance across our global operations. What you'll be leading Lead the Technical Solutions team whilst working closely with Engineering, Operations and New Product Development teams across multiple countries. Partner with New Product Development to validate, industrialise and transition new products into production Technical solutions across converting processes, packaging materials and manufacturing technologies Identification and implementation of innovative manufacturing solutions Technical support and capability development across multiple international manufacturing sites Strategic Projects involving new equipment, process improvements and capital investment What we are looking for You are a proven technical leader who can confidently move between the factory floor, customer discussions and executive conversations. You'll bring: Engineering degree qualifications 10+ years' experience in manufacturing environments Leadership experience developing high-performing technical teams Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, packaging materials and product development A track record of delivering innovation, operational improvements and commercial outcomes Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills Experience within paper, packaging, printing or converting industries will be highly regarded.
