ESS Defence provides food service and hospitality support to Defence sites across Australia. We deliver high-quality meals and service that support the wellbeing of Australian Defence Force personnel.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Blamey Barracks, Kapooka. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading teams, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high operational standards in a structured environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and support front-of-house and hospitality team members
Oversee daily dining room operations and service delivery
Coordinate meal services and support hospitality functions and events
Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
Ensure high standards of customer service and presentation
Assist with staff training, coaching and development
Support rostering and operational requirements as required

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience in hospitality, food service or supervisory roles
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
Ability to organise workloads and manage competing priorities
Professional presentation and positive attitude
Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check
