About The Opportunity
We are seeking a Works Supervisor - Planned Maintenance to ensure service excellence for a large-scale government housing contract by efficiently coordinating, managing, and monitoring trade and subcontractor performance. This role aims to guarantee the safe, timely, and client-desired delivery of all scheduled maintenance works, meeting both Programmed Facility Management (PFM) and client quality standards. This permanent, full-time role based in Burswood WA, plays a crucial part in the delivery of facility management and contributing to important services for the community.

Reporting Line: Contract Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of planned property maintenance works across the government housing portfolio.
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed within agreed service levels, timeframes and quality standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, site inspections and quality audits of scheduled maintenance.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping, reporting and contract compliance.
- Support budget management and monitor expenditure against maintenance programs
- Foster strong working relationships with vendor partners to drive service excellence and continuous improvement
- Assist in the preparation and assessment of proposals, contract variations and business improvement initiatives.
- Monitor client feedback and implement actions that strengthen service delivery outcomes and contract performance.
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all WHS legislation, policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with government clients and key stakeholders.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in building trades/services or facilities management (or similar) in a supervisor, management, or planning/ scheduling position. You will have a 'can-do' attitude, natural ability for people engagement and passion for excellent service delivery.
Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
- Trade qualification(s) - desirable
- Facilities management and or planned maintenance experience
- Experience working within KPI-driven environments.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Understanding of government housing, social housing or property maintenance environments - desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge of building and construction- desirable.
- Current driver's licence.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).
