Major Accountabilities/Principal Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Client and Industry analysis: Conducting economic and industry analysis.
- Credit & Risk: Supporting coverage banker on credit and risk related issues when required by the credit process. Preparing transaction support memo's for transactions involving corporate clients.
- Liaise with business lines: working in close cooperation with other business lines including Infrastructure, Asset Backed Products, Debt Capital Markets, Acquisition Finance, Energy, Mining and Real Estate, to assist in expanding business opportunities;
- Prepare presentation materials: identifying potential marketing opportunities and creation and production of high-quality pitch books and other marketing material for internal and external presentations;
- Data management: completing client database updates on internal tools and coordination, revenue tracking and supporting with budget forecasting;
- Onboarding: providing assistance with the KYC ("Know Your Customer") process and other documentation for existing clients and the onboarding of new clients;
- Client intelligence & coordination: supporting with roadshow event management and other key client meetings, prepare briefing notes for c-suite client meetings and recording minutes from meetings.
- Assisting with deal flows: development and review of deal checklists, assist with the submission and end-to-end coordination of the transaction approval process.
Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge Required
- University degree in a relevant discipline (for e.g. Business, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Economics or Law)
- I No previous work experience necessary, however some previous Investment banking or finance experience would be considered favourably
- Strong ability in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office generally
