As the Commercial Lead - Route to Market (RTM), you'll play a pivotal role in one of Asahi Beverages' most significant strategic transformation programs. As the commercial authority within the RTM program, you'll help shape how our products reach customers across Australia, balancing customer outcomes, commercial performance and long-term enterprise value.
Working across Commercial, Sales, Finance and external partners, you'll lead the development of commercial models, evaluate strategic options, and translate RTM strategy into practical, executable outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to influence major business decisions, drive value creation, and help redefine our future Route to Market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial analysis and option modelling across channels, customers and regions to support RTM decision-making.
- Evaluate the commercial impact of RTM changes, including volume, revenue, profitability and cost-to-serve outcomes.
- Develop and assess commercially viable RTM solutions, ensuring clear visibility of risks, assumptions and trade-offs.
- Shape portfolio and ranging strategies, including SKU optimisation and distribution partner arrangements.
- Assess customer, market and competitive impacts, developing strategies to mitigate commercial risk.
- Develop commercial proposals and negotiation strategies to support RTM execution.
- Partner closely with Sales, Commercial and Finance leaders to align stakeholders and secure buy-in for key decisions.
- Lead engagement with wholesalers, distributors and external partners to establish sustainable commercial agreements.
- Drive consistent execution and communication of RTM decisions across the business.
About You
You're a commercially minded leader who thrives in complex environments and enjoys solving business challenges through data, insight and collaboration. You can balance strategic thinking with practical execution and are confident influencing senior stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
You'll bring:
- Experience leading complex commercial initiatives, transformation programs or large-scale customer projects.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to assess opportunities, risks and value creation outcomes.
- Experience developing business cases, commercial models and strategic recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse groups across the business.
- Experience working within customer-facing, commercial, sales or route-to-market environments.
- A collaborative leadership style that brings people together to deliver outcomes in changing and ambiguous environments.
- Degree qualifications are desirable but not essential.
