About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Safety Advisor to join the team delivering the landmark Penrith Stadium Redevelopment-a $300M+ project transforming the existing venue into a modern, world-class stadium and entertainment precinct in Western Sydney.
Working closely with site leadership, project engineers, supervisors and subcontractors, you will play an important role in supporting the implementation and monitoring of safety systems, ensuring work is carried out safely and in compliance with project and legislative requirements.

About You:
You will have:
- A Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety, or a relevant qualification in Safety, Construction, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience working within construction, infrastructure, civil, building or related industries.
- A sound understanding of WHS legislation, risk management principles, and construction safety requirements.
- Experience supporting the implementation and monitoring of project safety management systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across site teams and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in safety reporting, incident management, and safety documentation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of project safety systems and initiatives.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and verify compliance with WHS legislation, project requirements and safe work practices.
- Assist in the review and monitoring of Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), risk assessments, permits and other safety documentation.
- Provide safety advice and guidance to project teams, supervisors and subcontractors.
- Participate in incident investigations and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor safety performance and maintain accurate records, reports and project safety data.
- Facilitate toolbox talks, pre-start meetings and safety awareness activities.
- Support project teams in identifying and managing workplace risks across all construction activities.
- Promote a positive safety culture through visible leadership, engagement and coaching on site.
