What's the gig?
Whether you are a seasoned Chef or a skilled Cook you will help bring to life a variety of delicious menu items for guests of all ages. From prepping the goods and plating them up to keeping the kitchen humming, you will play a vital role in delivering quality food and unforgettable experiences. Working across restaurants, fast food outlets and event activations, there is plenty of variety to keep things interesting.
Day to day, you will:
Monitor food quality, stock levels and kitchen hygiene
Prepare and present meals with a strong eye for quality
Lead and support kitchen staff for smooth service delivery
Jump in across functions and activations, keeping things fresh and fun
What you will bring to the table:
Experience in high-volume kitchen operations or events-based catering
A good knowledge of food safety standards and food presentation techniques
A team player mindset with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Availability to work a 7-day roster including weekends, early mornings, evenings and public holidays
Cert III in Commercial Cookery is highly regarded but not essential
Physical fitness to handle a fast-paced kitchen environment

Part Time (PT20)
Part time (PT20) employment guarantees a minimum of 20 hours per week over a cyclic roster. It is a condition of PT20 employment that you must be available to work a minimum of 5 days within a 7-day work cycle, inclusive of weekends.
As a part time team member, you will accrue leave entitlements on a pro-rata basis. Part time team members are also given priority to rostered hours.
