Civil Cadet Drafter - QLD
Our QLD Water team is looking for two Cadet Drafters to work with experienced engineers, designers and drafters to deliver practical drafting solutions across a variety of water engineering projects.
As a Cadet Drafter, you will work on water-based projects and:
Learn all facets of CAD, drafting and design techniques and gain skills in relevant computer programs.
Work under the guidance of our engineers and designers on engineering projects; and
Provide accurate and efficient drafting services for the business unit in accordance with project timeframes and budgets.

Qualifications
Completed your QCE or equivalent, with strong academic performance in mathematics, engineering and English, or completed or currently enrolled in one of the following:
Diploma of Engineering, Advanced Diploma of Engineering, or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering.
If you do not already hold one of these qualifications, the company will support the successful candidate to complete the Associate Degree in Civil Engineering at TAFE Queensland South Bank.
Some experience, or a keen interest, in drafting and design within the civil and structural engineering space.
The ability to gain and apply knowledge of engineering drawing techniques and CAD packages.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
The ability to solve problems and manage your time effectively.
