Storeperson

Are you an experienced Storeperson looking for a hands-on role where your work genuinely keeps operations moving? Swick Mining is seeking a motivated Storeperson to join our South Guildford Supply team on a full-time basis. In this key role, you will support our site-based operations and maintenance teams nationwide, helping ensure the right equipment, parts and materials are delivered where they are needed most.

The Role

As Storeperson, your duties will include:

• Picking and packing goods (heavy lifting involved)
• Goods receiving and shipment sorting
• Maintenance of stock records and labelling of stock
• Restocking shelves on a daily basis and assisting in monthly stocktakes
• Maintaining a tidy, organised and hazard free work area
• Operating Forklifts and hand operated tools

The Candidate

To be considered for this position, the following criteria must be met:

• Valid Driver’s license
• LF - Forklift Ticket
• Ability to pass a full Pre-Employment medical, including a drug & alcohol screen
• Ability to provide a current National Police Clearance upon request
• 2+ Years' experience is a similar position (Warehouse/Stores)
• The ability to work under pressure and meet designated deadlines
• Possess a positive attitude and be a team player
• Be confident in working with minimal Supervision
