About The Service
KU Playford Park Children's Centre is a community-focused long day care service nestled in the picturesque parklands of Padstow.
Operating Monday to Friday from 7am to 5:45pm, our service offers a wonderful work-life balance, with free onsite parking and convenient access to public transport - just a 10-minute walk from Padstow Train Station and a bus stop at the top of Davies Street.
The team provide a warm, inclusive environment for up to 43 children, aged 6 weeks to 5 years, we prioritise individual care and foster a family-oriented, supportive environment.
Surrounded by the calming natural beauty of Playford Park, our large outdoor play area invites exploration, creativity, and learning. With a strong reputation in the local community for delivering exceptional education and care, we create a space where children can thrive.

About The Role
We currently have two opportunities for certificate III qualified educators.
- A permanent part-time position working 20 hours per week; 1:15pm-5:15pm, Monday to Friday
- A part-time position working every Wednesday (8 hours per day) on a rotating roster. This is a parental leave contract until June 2027.
Part time educators also have access to joining our casual pool if desired.
About The Criteria
Along with relevant working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF) and a sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011), you will need:
- An ACCEQA recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- A current and Valid NSW Working with Children Check
- A National Child Safety Training Certificate
- A completed training in Child Protection (CHCPRT025) and an understanding of the legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
