Senior Radiographer - MRI - Incentives Offered
Dubbo Health Service
About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced, motivated and patient-focused Senior MRI Radiographer to join the Western NSW Local Health District's Medical Imaging team at Dubbo Health Service.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled MRI Radiographer who is ready to take the next step in their career and contribute to a progressive, supportive and growing regional imaging service. Working within a busy and dynamic department, the role is key to delivering high-quality MRI services to patients across Dubbo and the wider Western NSW region.
The Senior MRI Radiographer role brings advanced MRI knowledge, sound clinical judgement and a strong commitment to patient-centred care. The role involves the day-to-day coordination of MRI services, including workflow management, protocol optimisation, MRI safety, staff support, education and quality improvement.
This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with radiologists, referrers, clinicians, nursing staff and the broader multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive safe, efficient and compassionate care. You will also help support and mentor MRI radiographers, students and other staff working within the MRI environment, contributing to a culture of learning, safety and continuous improvement.
In addition to the senior MRI responsibilities, the role will also contribute to the wider Medical Imaging department roster, including participation in general radiography and on-call services. This supports service continuity for Dubbo Health Service and provides the opportunity to maintain broad clinical skills, professional confidence and currency across a diverse range of imaging presentations.
Dubbo Health Service is a major regional referral hospital, providing a diverse and rewarding clinical caseload. This position is well suited to someone who enjoys variety, values teamwork and wants to make a meaningful contribution to healthcare delivery in regional NSW.
If you are passionate about MRI, committed to high-quality patient care and looking for a senior role where your skills, experience and leadership will be genuinely valued, we would love to hear from you.
