About the Role
You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). It is one of the nation's most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.
This position is responsible for the delivery of optimum and efficient Patient Registration services across Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) Hospital via leadership of a management team and administrative workforce, implementation of policies and procedures and accountability over the respective data collection, transactional and reporting processes.
This position oversees the Emergency Department administrative staff, Admissions and Enquiries, Waitlist, Theatres and Endoscopy and PAS Support services and plays a pivotal role in implementing strategies to drive hospital performance against service targets within these areas.

Ideal Candidate
- Tertiary qualifications in health information management, health services management or equivalent relevant work experience in a major teaching or acute metropolitan hospital.
- Knowledge of patient registration policies and standards, and their application in an acute hospital setting.
- High level workforce management experience in a health care setting including the ability to motivate, provide leadership and strategic direction to a team to produce service outcomes.
- Experience in the management and use of reporting, patient administration or information management systems in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to lead and effect change initiatives that drive quality improvement and support the achievement of relevant hospital KPIs and business outcomes.
