Nepean Hospital is seeking enthusiastic, compassionate and highly motivated Registered Nurses to join our Emergency Department team on a Permanent Full Time or Permanent Part Time basis.
As part of Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District, you'll work alongside experienced multidisciplinary teams providing high-quality emergency care to a diverse and growing community across Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains.
As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will provide evidence-based Nursing care to patients presenting with a broad range of acute, complex and emergency health conditions. You will be supported by a collaborative team environment that promotes professional development, clinical excellence and person-centred care. No day is the same in the Emergency Department and this role will see you provide safe, effective and patient-focused Nursing care, assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing interventions, work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team whilst responding effectively in fast-paced and challenging clinical situations.

What you will bring to the role
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated experience and Clinical skill in Nursing as a Registered Nurse including completion of a New Graduate Registered Nurse program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective Nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
- Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.
