You will serve as a General Supply Specialist in the PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Qualifications:GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Experience communicating supply status to reduce the risk of the unavailability of material and ensure the timely start of jobs based on the schedule. 2. Provides recommendations on approved alternative sources of supply when faced with long lead times and able to identify potential sources of supply for emergency requirements. 3. Experience in problem identification, analysis of systemic causes, and proposing corrective action recommendations for approval and/or implementation. 4. Experience in identifying and resolving supply issues immediately. 5. Experience in reviewing scope of work to provide efficient and attainable budget requests and manages expenditures for materials to ensure work is accomplished to meet authorized funding.

Additional Information:
The incumbent will be assigned to work in areas where certain, potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present. These agents will include, but are not limited to fumes, dust, noise, heat, ionizing and non ionizing radiation, and chemicals. To ensure employee safety and health, PDS maintains personal protection programs consistent with applicable laws and regulations. These programs may include engineering controls, training, work procedures, use of personnel protective equipment, and medical surveillance. As part of medical surveillance programs, the incumbent may be required to take medical examinations to assess his or her medical qualification for work involving these agents.
The work requires regular and recurring visits to the industrial production areas. There is a considerable amount of walking, standing, bending, stooping and/or climbing and which may include confined spaces. The incumbent will be required to travel periodically, including air travel, on a TDY/emergent basis to provide/receive training, provide or receive briefs, may need to perform ship checks, participate in other production efforts, program reviews, participate in conferences, conduct surveys, advise of contractor progress reviews, and on-site problem resolution.
Work is performed primarily in an office setting, but requires visits to shops, departments and other work sites throughout PHNSY&IMF.
