About the role:

At Demant, we believe that people are at the heart of business success. As our HR Business Partner, you will work closely with leaders across the business to drive people initiatives that support growth, performance, engagement, and organisational effectiveness. Reporting to the People & Culture Director ANZ, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing strategic and operational HR support across a broad range of people matters.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with leaders to develop and implement strategic people initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and talent development.
  • Support workforce planning, organisational change, succession planning, and restructuring activities.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and People & Culture teams to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
  • Facilitate HR training and support managers in navigating employment legislation and HR best practice.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of HR generalist experience, including 2+ years in an HR Business Partner or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and contemporary HR practices.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
  • Strong organisational skills and experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience within a retail, customer service, healthcare, or multi-site environment will be highly regarded.
