Cyber Analysts

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) has a requirement for multiple Cyber Analysts.

As the Cyber Engagement sections body of work increases, we are seeking eager cyber analysts to join our high-performing and fast paced ICT cyber security environment.

Cyber Analyst

The successful candidate/s responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Develop new and manage existing cyber related policy, frameworks, standards and guidelines, and report on compliance with stated policy;

Provide executive level reports and briefs on the cyber security posture of a department;

Raise awareness of information security issues with system owners and departmental staff;

Document and conduct risk assessments of ICT systems and applications ahead of security accreditation;

Provide technical and nontechnical advice and collaborate with departmental projects in relation to best security practices;

Show sound judgement and the ability to work under limited supervision to produce high quality outcomes.
