We're seeking an experienced and motivated Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our Events Department. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about service excellence, team development, and operational success.

Your Role

As the Food & Beverage Supervisor - Events, you will support the Events Management Team in delivering smooth, high-quality event operations. You'll lead from the front, coordinating service delivery, mentoring team members, and ensuring company standards are consistently met across all events.

Where you'll make an impact

• Coordinate equipment setup and event preparation alongside the Events Team

• Address guest requests, enquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently

• Prioritise health and safety compliance, including dietary requirements

• Train, mentor and support team members to maintain service standards

• Assist in identifying staff development needs and implementing training

• Perform opening and closing duties, including cashiering

• Communicate effectively and regularly with the management team

• Maintain a hands-on presence during events to ensure service excellence

What we're looking for

You're an experienced events or hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for developing teams. You bring a positive attitude, a calm approach under pressure, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.

To be successful, you will need:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Food & Beverage and/or Events

• Demonstrated experience in banqueting, conferences and events

• Supervisory experience in banqueting (desirable)

• Strong beverage, wine and cocktail knowledge

• Proven leadership skills with a focus on training and mentoring

• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

• Current Nationally Recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate

• Valid Driver's Licence

• Basic computer skills

• Impeccable grooming and personal presentation
