SPORTS & ACTIVITIES LEADER - Hamilton Island

Hamilton Island is seeking an energetic and charismatic Sports & Activities Leader to deliver fun, engaging experiences for both our guests and team members. From kids' activities and pool games to trivia nights, sports tournaments and staff events, no two days are the same in this exciting role.

Where you'll make an impact

  • Deliver engaging activities for guests of all ages, including kids' crafts, beach games, pool parties and trivia nights
  • Plan and facilitate exciting staff events including bingo, trivia, sports competitions, games nights and raffles
  • Create a fun, safe and inclusive environment that encourages participation
  • Host activities confidently and engage groups using strong communication and presentation skills
  • Work independently and collaboratively to deliver memorable experiences across the island
  • Build positive relationships with guests and team members from diverse backgrounds

What we're looking for

You're an outgoing, enthusiastic people person who loves creating memorable experiences. You enjoy engaging with people of all ages, are confident speaking in front of groups and thrive in an energetic environment where every day is different.

To be successful, you'll need:

  • A strong customer service background
  • A passion for creating fun and engaging guest experiences
  • Queensland Blue Card, or willingness to obtain one (Essential)
  • Current driver's licence (Essential)
  • First Aid and CPR certification (Essential)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence leading activities and speaking to groups
  • Qualification in Outdoor Education or Sports Coaching (Desirable)
