Lead Claims Advocacy for Australia’s Faith Sector

We are seeking an experienced and passionate National Faith Claims Manager to lead our specialist Faith Claims team and drive exceptional claims outcomes for faith-based organisations across Australia. This is a unique leadership opportunity for a senior claims professional who combines deep technical expertise with a client-first mindset and a genuine understanding of the faith and mission sector.

About the Role

The National Faith Claims Manager will be well versed in partnering with brokers, clients and insurers to deliver outstanding claims advocacy and service. This role is pivotal in supporting complex and significant claims, strengthening client relationships, influencing industry stakeholders, and helping faith based organisations navigate challenging claims events with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a culture of claims advocacy and client excellence
  • Manage and oversee large, complex and sensitive claims matters
  • Partner closely with brokers and branch teams to deliver exceptional client experiences
  • Negotiate with insurers and other stakeholders to achieve optimal claims outcomes
  • Build trusted relationships with faith sector clients and key industry partners
  • Provide strategic claims insights during client renewals, reviews and new business opportunities.
  • Identify and implement improvements to claims processes, service standards and client outcomes.
  • Contribute to industry working groups, learning initiatives and claims related projects.

About You

You are a respected claims leader with the credibility, commercial acumen and relationship building skills to influence a broad range of stakeholders. You will bring:

  • Extensive insurance claims experience with strong technical knowledge across claims management and insurance products
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience managing complex or high value claims
  • A passion for delivering outstanding client outcomes
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and growth

Highly Regarded

  • Experience working with faith-based, mission driven or not-for-profit organisations.
  • Experience within financial services or a large insurance broking environment.
