The Opportunity
Based in Adelaide, you will manage commercial property claims end-to-end, from first notification through to settlement. You will enjoy a balance of on-site assessments and office-based work, engaging with policyholders, insurers, and service providers to deliver fair and timely outcomes in line with regulatory and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage claims across the full lifecycle from lodgement to settlement
- Conduct site inspections and assess commercial property losses
- Review policies to determine coverage and liability
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the claims process
- Produce clear, high-quality reports and meet SLAs, KPIs, and compliance standards
- Negotiate and settle claims within delegated authority
About You
- Experience in commercial claims or loss adjusting
- Solid understanding of general insurance practices
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Well organised, analytical, and able to manage competing priorities
- Professional, customer-focused, and empathetic in your approach
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in loss adjusting or commercial claims
- Current driver's licence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Loss adjusting qualifications or relevant professional qualifications (preferred)
