Your responsibilities will include:

  • Survey of vessels during newbuilding stage with particular focus on governmental vessels (Defence and Border Force related)
  • Taking full ownership of project execution across all phases
  • Planning, coordinating, and continuously improving operational activities in alignment with DNV strategy
  • Performing meticulous project control and reporting
  • Ensuring excellent service delivery and effective after-sales support
  • Providing proper training and information to team members regarding safety procedures

In this role, you will be at the forefront of naval maritime projects, with responsibilities including:

  • Leading end-to-end newbuilding projects from initial sales handover through to successful delivery
  • Acting as the primary point of contact between shipyards, vessel owners' representatives, and internal DNV teams
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary teams while promoting strong cross-functional collaboration
  • Developing leadership skills through the management of diverse stakeholder relationships
  • Advising clients on regulatory requirements within the maritime industry

You will play a key role in:

  • Ensuring vessels comply with the highest standards of safety and environmental performance
  • Delivering consistent, high-quality services that reinforce DNV's strong industry reputation
  • Driving strategic Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices to safeguard teams and reduce operational risks
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key clients and industry partners

Requirement:

  • Eligibility to obtain the necessary security clearances to work on Australian Defence assets is essential
