Technical Lead

What's the role?
You'll step into a key technical leadership role within our Cash and Transactional Banking team, helping shape and build the digital experiences our customers rely on every day. Working full time in a hybrid setup from Sydney Warrane Gadigal Country or the Gold Coast, you'll lead the design, build and ongoing improvement of API and microservices based solutions.

You'll stay close to the code while guiding technical direction, owning solutions end to end and becoming the go to for how systems are designed, built and supported. You'll collaborate with product, design, architecture and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure and high performing services, while also mentoring others and lifting engineering capability across the team.

What do I need?
Strong experience building and leading API and microservices based solutions using Java and Spring Boot
Hands on coding capability with a passion for quality, performance and secure design
Experience working in agile delivery environments and contributing to continuous improvement
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive solutions across teams
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non technical stakeholders
