We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our friendly and supportive Brisbane Buildings Team on a full-time basis. You will be a part of our multi-disciplinary team working across various building projects.

The successful candidate will be able to apply their technical skills and demonstrate commitment in a way which ensures projects are thoroughly designed, personally reviewed and delivered on time. You will service projects including those of relatively large size, of high complexity and with multiple clients.

Stantec are involved in a vast variety of project types including data centres, health, defence, high-rise, industrial, education etc. The successful candidate will be working in a strong team environment. You will be self-motivated, resourceful and a great communicator.

Day to day tasks would involve:
Provide electrical designs for a range of building projects, including reports, studies, design calculations, mark-up's, drawings and specifications.
Design of LV power systems, lighting and lightning protection using industry standard software such as PowerCAD, AGI/Dialux.
Represent Stantec externally to Clients.
Liaise with authorities and contractors.

To be successful for this role you'll need:
Hold a bachelor degree of Electrical Engineering
Ideally have 3+ years experience working in a consulting environment within the building services industry
Willingness to establish and maintain strong client relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Positive, can-do attitude, team player and strong work ethic
