As a Group Payroll Officer, you'll support the delivery of accurate, timely and compliant payroll services across Australia and New Zealand. Working in a high-volume environment, you'll manage payroll processing, resolve payroll queries, support compliance requirements and provide exceptional stakeholder support. What You'll Be Doing Deliver End-to-End Payroll Processing - Ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery Process high-volume payroll transactions, validate payroll data, calculate complex payments and ensure all deductions and external payments are completed correctly. Manage Payroll Queries & Troubleshooting - Provide expert payroll support and issue resolution Investigate payroll enquiries, identify root causes of discrepancies and deliver accurate, timely solutions for employees and stakeholders. Ensure Payroll Compliance - Maintain payroll compliance and governance standards Apply awards, enterprise agreements and legislative requirements while supporting superannuation, entitlement and regulatory obligations. Payroll Administration & Reporting - Manage payroll data integrity and reporting activities Maintain accurate employee records, support reporting and reconciliations, and analyse payroll data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities. Drive Continuous Improvement - Contribute to payroll process and system enhancements Identify opportunities to improve payroll efficiency, controls, accuracy and the overall employee experience. Build Strong Stakeholder Relationships - Partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders Provide professional, customer-focused support while building trusted relationships across the business and with external agencies. What You'll Bring Systems Savvy Payroll Professional - Strong payroll systems experience, including hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors (or similar) and working within large HRIS and payroll environments. High-Volume Payroll Expertise - Proven experience processing high-volume payrolls, with a strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, superannuation, awards and enterprise agreements; New Zealand payroll experience will be highly regarded. Problem Solver & Analytical Thinker - Excellent troubleshooting and analytical capability, with a demonstrated ability to investigate payroll discrepancies, perform reconciliations and resolve complex payroll issues. Accuracy Driven & Exceptionally Organised - Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Trusted Stakeholder Partner - Advanced communication skills with the ability to explain complex payroll matters clearly, provide exceptional customer service and build trusted relationships across all levels of the business.
