Role Summary The Senior Manager, Enterprise Systems & IT Operations is accountable for the reliable, secure and compliant operation of the systems and services that run our commercial, finance and workplace technology. Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Systems & IT Operations, this role directly leads the Enterprise Systems Operations team and the IT Operations team, and owns IT Service Management (ITSM) practice - change, incident and problem management, access governance and audit compliance - across the broader technology portfolio. This is an operations leadership role that pairs delivery rigour with hands-on operational depth. The Senior Manager sets and continuously improves the operating standards that keep business-critical platforms stable, and provides steady operational leadership through periods of significant change - including platform migrations, workplace technology transitions, application rationalisation and the alignment of systems and practices with CoStar Group a Microsoft 365-run organisation. What you'll do Operational Excellence & System Health Accountable for the stability, availability and performance of enterprise systems and supporting integrations, maintaining and improving system health baselines for critical services. Owns the production support model across the Enterprise Systems Operations and IT Operations Drives proactive, preventative operations reduces recurring incidents and defect backlog through root-cause analysis, monitoring and observability, and continuous improvement. Establishes and reports on operational KPIs ITSM, Change Management & Compliance Owns the ITSM framework across the biztech portfolio - change, incident, problem and request management - ensuring consistent, well-governed practices regardless of which team delivers the work. Accountable for compliance and audit readiness for in-scope systems, including change controls, segregation of duties and periodic user access reviews, partnering with Finance, Cyber Resilience and external auditors. Transition, Migration & Service Delivery Leads operational readiness, cutover support and hypercare for major platform and workplace technology transitions. Manages key vendor and managed-service relationships, holding them accountable to service levels and value. People Leadership & Collaboration Directly manages the Enterprise Systems Operations and IT Operations teams Essential Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field 8+ years' experience in enterprise systems, IT operations or technology service delivery, including operating business-critical applications. The technical capability to perform the operational and systems work they manage - enough hands on depth to set standards, make sound technical judgements, and credibly guide the team. Significant people management experience (4+ years), leading operations or support teams and developing emerging leaders. Strong working knowledge of ITSM/ITIL practices - change, incident, problem and access management - and demonstrated ownership of an operational control environment. Experience supporting and operating enterprise platforms such as CRM, billing/ERP and integrations. Experience with IT compliance and audit, including financial-systems controls, segregation of duties and user access reviews. Nice to have ITIL certification; relevant cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) or platform certifications. Experience administering Microsoft 365 and modern workplace technology, including enterprise device management. Experience operating in a regulated, publicly listed environment and through M&A or platform integration. SOX or ISO 27001 compliance experience. What's In It For You?
