Associate - Infrastructure Portfolio Management Group
The Opportunity
We are seeking an Associate to join QIC Infrastructure's Portfolio Management Group (PMG), supporting the management of Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs) and Portfolio Analytics. This role sits at the centre of portfolio insights, client delivery and investment decision support working closely with Portfolio Managers to drive high-quality analysis, reporting and outcomes for global institutional clients.
You will play a key role in generating portfolio analytics to inform portfolio construction, investment decisions and client engagement, while contributing to the ongoing growth and sophistication of QIC Infrastructure's global platform.
This opportunity can be based in either our Brisbane or Sydney office.
Key responsibilities:
- Support Portfolio Managers in delivering SMA investor outcomes, including reporting, presentations, asset commentary and client materials
- Assist with portfolio monitoring, valuation processes, attribution analysis, scenario modelling and portfolio optimisation
- Contribute to investment decision support, including pipeline review, opportunity evaluation and risk analysis
- Develop and maintain high-quality asset and client collateral, including due diligence responses and marketing materials
- Build and maintain portfolio models and datasets to inform portfolio construction and investment views
- Monitor market, sector and economic trends and assess their impact on infrastructure portfolios
- Collaborate across teams (Investment, Operations, Risk, Client Solutions) to support projects, initiatives and client outcomes
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and SMA clients
About You
- Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Data Science or Law.
- 3-5 years' experience within the investment or financial services industry
- Strong analytical capability, with demonstrated experience in financial modelling
- A genuine interest in infrastructure investing and developing deep sector knowledge
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Well-developed communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and professional written materials and presentations
- A proactive, collaborative approach with strong organisational and project management skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with tools such as Bloomberg is advantageous
