We're looking for an experienced Senior Test Analyst with a proven track record of delivering high-quality application changes across multiple platforms through structured, disciplined testing. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and ensure complete test coverage across testing programmes. Alongside this, you'll be responsible for:
Analyse complex business and technical requirements to build clear, effective test plans and test
cases.
Own and coordinate functional, integration, regression, and system testing end to end.
Drive strong delivery in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Manage defects by raising and escalating issues in line with defined procedures. Identify and manage testing risks, track testing progress, and provide clear reporting, insights, and defect summaries.
Ensure allocated test designs and test cases are delivered on schedule. Continuously improve QA processes, standards, and tooling.
This role is ideal for someone who has demonstrated experience working in an Agile testing environment. You'll also need strong capabilities in data validation and back-end testing using SQL. We're looking for the following:
5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing within the financial services or fintech domains, including banking, investments, superannuation, payments, or trading systems.
A strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and QA best practices.
Experience delivering in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe environments.
Proven ability to analyse problems, evaluate options, and drive effective solutions.
Experience with test management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Xray, Zephyr, or similar.
Excellent communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.
