Hamilton Island Holiday Homes is seeking an experienced and guest-focused Front Office Supervisor to join our team. Managing over 160 holiday letting properties ranging from spacious apartments to luxury homes, you'll lead our Front Office team in delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across one of Hamilton Island's most unique accommodation portfolios.

Your Role
As Front Office Supervisor, you'll support the daily operation of Hamilton Island Holiday Homes by leading Hosts and Porters, coordinating arrivals and departures, and ensuring every guest receives friendly, efficient, and professional service from check-in through to departure.
Where you'll make an impact
- Supervise the day-to-day operation of the Front Office team
- Coordinate guest arrivals and departures with the Porter team
- Ensure Front Office team members deliver exceptional service standards
- Work closely with Housekeeping to ensure properties are guest ready
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries and requests
- Train, mentor, and develop Front Office team members
- Investigate cashiering discrepancies and maintain financial accuracy
- Oversee City Ledgers, House Accounts, Late Charges, and outstanding balances
- Produce operational reports to support business performance
- Assist with room allocations to maximise occupancy and guest satisfaction
- Support roster preparation and time and attendance approvals
- Maintain Front Office procedures and operational standards
What we're looking for
You are a confident and approachable leader with a passion for guest service. You enjoy developing people, solving problems, and creating memorable experiences while maintaining a calm and professional approach in a busy hospitality environment.
To be successful, you will need:
- QLD Driver Licence (Essential)
- Eligibility to obtain a Restricted Driver Authorisation (Essential)
- Certificate III in Hospitality Operations or equivalent (Essential)
- Minimum 12 months' experience in a similar Front Office leadership role
- Strong knowledge of Front Office systems and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and leadership abilities
- Professional presentation and customer-focused attitude
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster
