Your Impact

As a Laboratory Technologist, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products by delivering precise, reliable analytical testing across our production operations.

Working closely with brewery, packaging and quality teams, you'll provide critical insights through laboratory analysis that support product excellence and business performance. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys problem solving, working with data, and contributing to continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

Analytical Testing & Sample Management
  • Conduct testing of beverage and in-process samples in line with established methods
  • Manage sample intake, preparation, integrity and traceability
  • Accurately calculate, verify and report analytical results
  • Maintain data within SAP and ensure timely communication of results
  • Escalate out-of-specification findings in line with procedures
Laboratory Operations & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records, calibration logs and documentation
  • Support development of standard operating procedures and training materials
  • Identify opportunities to improve laboratory efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide trend analysis and reporting to support quality performance
Equipment Maintenance & Calibration
  • Operate, maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to required standards
  • Troubleshoot faults, perform basic repairs or coordinate external support
  • Maintain calibration records and ensure equipment compliance
Safety & Compliance
  • Follow safe handling, storage and disposal practices for chemicals and reagents
  • Adhere to PPE and laboratory safety requirements
  • Conduct safety checks and proactively identify hazards
  • Support compliance with internal and external quality standards
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across brewing, packaging and quality
  • Communicate results and insights clearly to internal stakeholders
  • Build strong working relationships across site operations


About You

You're a detail-focused and organised professional who enjoys working in a laboratory environment and contributing to high-quality outcomes. You're comfortable working independently, while also collaborating with a broader team to solve problems and improve processes.
You'll bring:
  • A degree in chemistry, food science or a related discipline
  • Experience in analytical testing within a laboratory or manufacturing setting
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly
  • Confidence working independently and managing your own workload
  • Solid computer skills, with experience in reporting and data systems
It would be great if you also have:
  • Experience with chromatographic techniques (HPLC and/or GC)
  • Knowledge of laboratory quality systems (e.g. ISO/IEC 17025, GLP)
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar systems
  • Understanding of food, beverage or brewing processes
