Architect or exp. Graduate - Health Projects
BVN is inviting expressions of interest from exceptional Architects or experienced Graduates, who are experienced in health projects and health environment planning / design, from concept design through to construction documentation, to join our Brisbane studio. This is an exciting, dynamic, full-time position that requires versatile, adept and experienced individuals to significantly contribute to key projects at BVN.

Hospitals are multi-use places, they are places of work, places of healing, places of teaching and places for family and community. Our experience in multi-sector design comes to the forefront as we approach the way health facilities are designed and considered. For example, our experience in designing educational facilities and workplaces have influenced and are paramount in the delivery of innovative and highly successful health care design.
The role
- Responsibility of working with the Project Director to lead the project team to develop health projects.
- Assist the Project Director with coordination with external groups including stakeholders and consultants.
- Liaise with clients while representing BVN at meetings and presentations.
- Collaborate closely with the project team to develop projects.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including design development and construction drawings, and room layout sheets (RLS).
- Have a passion about architecture in all its forms, combining health project expertise with a wider design curiosity.
Additional experience
- Experience working on health projects.
- A general understanding of the Australian Health Facility Guidelines (AusHFGs).
- Understanding of spatial relationships, workflow and operational efficiency in health environments.
- Collaborative and innovative, with a proactive, solutions focused approach to design challenges.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with clients, user groups and project teams.
- Proficient in Revit and dRofus, with experience in visualisation tools such as Enscape or Lumion, considered an advantage.
- Interested in architecture in all its forms, combining health project and planning expertise, with a wider design curiosity.

Qualifications
- Master of Architecture or equivalent (with a minimum of 5 years post graduate professional experience).
