Food and Beverage All Rounder

Purpose

As a Food & Beverage All-Rounder at Mantra on View, you will warmly welcome guests and showcase our diverse food and beverage offerings. This role focuses on conferencing and events, where you’ll assist in setting up rooms, handling buffet service, providing bar and beverage service, and contributing to gala dinners and cocktail events—all while displaying your barista skills. Your attention to detail, commitment to customer satisfaction, and collaborative approach will be essential in creating memorable experiences for every event.

• Elevate dining experiences with your personalised food and beverage suggestions within outlets and events
• Proactively source information to increase your product knowledge
• Deliver exceptional buffet and table service, ensuring food stations are well stocked and guests are attended to promptly and professionally.
• Skilfully provide beverage service at events, including bar setup, drink preparation, and responsible alcohol service, while engaging with guests in a friendly manner
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages with a high level of expertise, ensuring quality presentation and taste
• Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, attentively addressing their needs and ensuring a positive dining and event experience
• Ensure all food and beverage areas are clean, well-organised, and meet health and safety standards

Skills & Experience

• Experience with setting up rooms, buffet service, bar and beverage service, and table service for events is highly desirable
• Proven Barista and beverage service skills
• Flexibility across different schedules including weekends and public holidays as required
• Possession of a valid QLD RSA
• Passion for engaging with patrons and collaborating within a team of diverse professionals
