Lead Talent Partner

Help build the teams behind Victoria's #1 residential builder.

At Mirrastone, recruitment isn't simply about filling vacancies.

It's about understanding the business, building trusted relationships and helping leaders make great hiring decisions.

As Victoria's number one residential builder, our portfolio includes Sherridon Homes, Royston Homes, SOHO Living, Brilley, Landarra and several other growing businesses. With more than 500 employees across multiple brands, attracting exceptional people is one of the most important things we do.

We're looking for an experienced Lead Talent Partner to own recruitment across the Mirrastone Group.

This is a standalone role with genuine autonomy. You'll partner directly with leaders across every part of the business-from operational and technical roles through to senior leadership appointments.

No two days are the same, and that's exactly how we like it.

About the Role

You'll typically manage between 10 and 15 active vacancies at any given time, but success isn't measured by how many roles you fill.

It's measured by your ability to understand the business, build credibility with leaders and deliver the right recruitment solution for every hiring challenge.

Some leaders will want you to manage the entire recruitment process.

Others may simply need market insights, candidate sourcing or guidance through key hiring decisions.

Some vacancies will be filled through advertising.

Others will require proactive search, market mapping, networking or long-term talent pipelining.

You'll know when to lead, when to coach, when to challenge and when to simply roll up your sleeves and recruit.

This role isn't about applying the same process every time-it's about applying the right approach.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Partner with leaders across the business to understand hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment across a diverse portfolio of corporate, operational, technical and leadership roles.

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.

  • Deliver proactive sourcing, executive search and market mapping where required.

  • Provide market intelligence, salary benchmarking and recruitment advice to support informed hiring decisions.

  • Coach hiring leaders throughout the recruitment process, adapting your support to suit their experience, capability and availability.

  • Create an exceptional candidate experience that reflects the Mirrastone brand.

  • Leverage recruitment technology and automation where they add genuine value.

  • Continuously improve recruitment outcomes by focusing on practical solutions rather than unnecessary processes.

About You

You're an experienced recruiter who understands that recruitment is ultimately a service.

You know that every vacancy is different.

Every hiring manager is different.

And every solution should be different too.

You'll bring:

  • Strong end-to-end recruitment experience across a variety of role types.

  • Confidence partnering with senior leaders and influencing hiring decisions.

  • Excellent sourcing, networking and headhunting capability.

  • Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Strong commercial judgement.

  • A naturally collaborative and consultative approach.

  • Curiosity to learn how a business operates before recommending change.

  • The confidence to challenge constructively when needed.

Most importantly, you're adaptable.

You don't rely on rigid recruitment frameworks or believe every hiring manager should recruit the same way.

Instead, you take the time to understand the business, build trusted relationships and tailor your approach to achieve the best outcome.

Why Join Mirrastone?

  • Join Victoria's #1 residential builder.

  • Own recruitment across multiple successful brands.

  • Partner directly with Executive Leadership and key business leaders.

  • Enjoy genuine variety and autonomy in your role.

  • Work with modern recruitment technology including Teamtailor(ATS), Employment Hero

  • One day per week, working from home.

  • Competitive salary package.

  • Join a business that values initiative, pragmatism and continuous improvement.

Our Approach

We're not looking for someone to arrive with a one-size-fits-all recruitment playbook.

We're looking for someone curious enough to learn how our business operates, adaptable enough to tailor their approach to different leaders and experienced enough to know that great recruitment isn't about following the same process every time.

If you're someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, solving recruitment challenges and helping leaders make great hiring decisions, we'd love to hear from you.

Our Head Office is based in Derrimut (Western Suburbs); however, we have offices in Port Melbourne, Camberwell, Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Shepparton and Gippsland. There may be the odd time you need to travel to one of those offices.
