About the role

This is a rare opportunity to work at the centre of Adobe's mobile growth strategy across APAC, partnering with one of the most sophisticated and forwardthinking digital brands in the world.

The work spans alwayson user acquisition, major campaign bursts, and longterm audience and product growth, supported by substantial, multimarket investment and senior stakeholder attention.

As Performance Planning Manager (Mobile Apps), you'll work closely with Adobe, who value strategic thinking, rigour, and partnership - and who expect their agency to help lead the conversation, not just execute instructions. This is an incredible opportunity to drive growth and change on a fast-growing, game-changing Publicis Media client, combining strategic thinking with strong hands-on expertise to drive the growth and visibility of Adobe mobile app campaigns.

This role requires a deep understanding of performance marketing channels, user acquisition strategies and some knowledge of app store ecosystems (iOS and Android). You'll be responsible for planning paid media campaigns that increase app downloads, drive ROI, and encourage long-term user retention through paid efforts.

The ideal candidate is a hybrid thinker: someone who can define and scale performance marketing strategies while also rolling up their sleeves to troubleshoot and optimise campaigns when needed.

You will act as a trusted partner to your clients, providing clarity, confidence and forward planning. You'll have the autonomy to shape standards, influence conversations, and build a scalable approach that will be felt across markets.

What you will do with us:

  • Lead performance strategy for a category-leading client - Own and evolve the mobile app marketing strategy across iOS and Android - shaping how a global brand drives acquisition, engagement, and long-term value through paid and owned channels.
  • Develop media strategies across search (Apple Ads, Google UAC), social and display - grounded in audience insight, clear objectives, and full-funnel thinking from install through to retention.
  • Build and optimise campaign structures, targeting approaches, creative testing frameworks and bidding strategies to deliver against key metrics including CPI, ROAS and lifetime value.
  • Map and continuously refine the user journey across acquisition, engagement and retention - identifying opportunities to unlock growth across every stage.
  • Ensure mobile activity is fully connected to broader digital campaigns - driving consistency across app stores, search, social, display and owned ecosystems.
  • Guide mobile app planning - challenging thinking, and elevating output across a multi-disciplinary group of specialists.
  • Partner with strategy, activation, analytics, creative and client teams to deliver cohesive, insight-led marketing solutions aligned to broader business goals.
  • Analyse performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement data-led optimisations to maximise ROI and drive continuous improvement.
  • Define conversion frameworks, ensure robust tracking, and lead structured testing programmes (A/B, creative, messaging) to unlock incremental growth.
  • Identify emerging trends, platforms and growth opportunities while upskilling teams and embedding best practice across mobile marketing.

What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years' experience in planning performance marketing campaigns - including some experience working in mobile app marketing or performanceled digital roles.
  • Hands-on experience in planning or running app install campaigns across Apple Ads, Google UAC, Meta, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
  • Experience with MMPs, mobile attribution, and event tracking.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment.
  • Working knowledge of iOS and Android ecosystems, including app store dynamics, platform constraints, and the impact of privacy and policy changes on planning.
  • Experience planning and optimising performanceled mobile activity across channels such as paid social, app campaigns, programmatic, and/or search.
  • Confidence reviewing performance outputs, identifying risks and opportunities, and connecting results back to agreed objectives and investment decisions.
  • Strong client communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity, influence decisions, and build trust with senior stakeholders.
  • A practical, solutionsfocused mindset - able to balance strategic thinking with handson problemsolving when needed.
  • Curiosity and adaptability in a fastchanging mobile landscape, with the confidence to evolve thinking as platforms, measurement, and user behaviour shift.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute a strong vision for your clients.
  • Excellent attention to detail - you're super organised, and can manage multiple priorities
  • with precision and confidence, and know when to escalate issues promptly.
  • A collaborative mindset - You work effectively and constructively with multi-disciplinary teams to turn ideas into action and contribute to award-worthy work.
