Overview

As the Transformation Specialist, you will help the project team understand current ways of working, assess the impact of proposed changes, and support activities that prepare the business for implementation. This includes contributing to impact assessments, process design, testing, training input, implementation planning and change readiness.

You will work closely with the Transformation Lead, Transformation Specialists, business SMEs, project teams and RTWSA stakeholders to gather information, test assumptions, identify risks or issues, and provide clear recommendations to support practical decision-making.


How you'll make an impact

  • Use your operational, project, change or claims experience to help the project team understand how work is done today and what needs to change.
  • Assess how proposed changes may affect people, processes, customers, systems, data, controls and day-to-day service delivery.
  • Work with operational teams, SMEs, project team members and RTWSA stakeholders to gather information, test assumptions and identify practical risks or issues.
  • Support workshops, walkthroughs and discussions by asking clear questions, sharing feedback and turning input into agreed actions or recommendations.
  • Contribute to process design, business readiness, testing, training input, implementation planning and transition activities.
  • Prepare clear documentation, briefings and updates that explain issues, risks, decisions and progress in plain language.

About you

  • Experience supporting transformation, project delivery, change implementation, process improvement, business readiness, operational improvement or similar work.
  • Ability to understand business impacts across processes, people, systems, data, customers and service delivery, and translate findings into practical actions.
  • Strong stakeholder skills, including the ability to ask good questions, challenge assumptions respectfully, clarify issues and work with others to find practical solutions.
  • Experience contributing to workshops, impact assessments, testing, implementation planning, documentation, training input or business readiness activities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain issues, document decisions and keep people informed in simple language.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and maintain high-quality outputs in a fast-paced project environment.
