Onsite Embedded Technician - 5/4 Roster

We are looking for a talented Field Service Mechanic to join our high performing field service team. The Gunnedah Basin mining region is home to over 170 Cummins High Horsepower engines, powering a range of mining equipment. Boggabri Coal mine site.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • First responder to breakdown events
  • Fleet maintenance
  • Capturing engine data
  • Fault diagnostics
  • Diverse range engine repairs, both major and minor
  • Working autonomously as well as having the ability to work in a great team environment
  • Work with other major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Caterpillar, Hitachi, Komatsu and Liebherr
  • The face of Cummins at the customer site

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Relevant trade qualification (Heavy Diesel preferred but not necessary)
  • Field service experience preferred coupled with heavy duty engine experience
  • Strong engine diagnostic experience
  • The ability to work autonomously/remotely for extended periods
  • A valid driver's license
  • Good interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
