In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Receive incoming goods, inspect for damage, and check for discrepancies against invoices or documentation.
  • Accurately sort, label, store, pick, pack, and dispatch goods in accordance with work instructions and customer requirements.
  • Complete warehouse system transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Operate forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet riders, or other warehouse equipment where licensed and authorised.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area through routine housekeeping and equipment care.
  • Follow all safety standards, procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Report hazards, incidents, injuries, illnesses, and near misses promptly.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment and actively contribute to a safety-focused culture.
  • Complete quality checks, identify damaged or non-conforming materials, and raise issues early to reduce risk.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and support teams to meet operational targets and business requirements.
  • Participate in required training and contribute to continuous improvement in safety, quality, process efficiency, and material flow.

Some relevant work experience, intermediate warehouse knowledge, or equivalent experience gained through education, training, or on-the-job learning is preferred along with a forklift license.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Previous warehouse, stores, logistics, or distribution experience, or a willingness to learn through structured training and on-the-job experience.
  • Strong commitment to workplace health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Ability to follow work instructions, procedures, and standard operating processes accurately.
  • Good attention to detail when checking, recording, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to reliable and accurate service delivery.
  • Ability to stay organised, remain flexible, and complete tasks to required timeframes and operational standards.
  • Current licence or certification to operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet riders, or similar equipment, where required.

Education, Licences and Certifications
High school diploma, completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience that meets applicable requirements. Relevant licences or certifications to operate warehouse equipment may be required. This position may also require compliance with applicable export control or sanctions regulations.
