  • Manage interactive sessions and Q&As with the customer throughout the tender process.
  • Define and manage commercial strategy, spanning legal, finance, technical, planning and deliverables from EOI through to contract signature.
  • Organise the tender alongside the bid manager, defining bid strategy and the split of work in cooperation with the ANZ bid team and Alstom Platforms, and define partner agreements in coordination with the legal team.
  • Lead and coordinate the full bid team, including the bid manager, cost manager, technical manager, finance tender manager, legal, finance, tax and procurement, bid writers, and participating units and platforms.
  • Share accountability with the bid manager for the deliverables produced and submitted as part of Alstom's offer, supported by bid writers and the wider bid team.
  • Manage the internal tender process and present at key review gates (OMR, WNG, TRM, WRM, TTM).
  • Lead tender preparation activities with a sharp focus on customer evaluation criteria.
  • Coordinate strategy closely with the Customer Director for Victoria and South Australia.
  • Guide the bid manager in proposal preparation and help shape the key messages that win.
  • Own proposal delivery and negotiation through to a successful transfer meeting with the Project Manager.
