The Role
BGIS is seeking skilled Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technicians to join our Self Perform team servicing Perth, delivering high-quality HVAC and Refrigeration maintenance, repairs, and minor works across commercial client facilities.

In this role, you'll provide end-to-end air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance support as part of a collaborative building services team. You'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across systems including split and ducted air conditioning, chillers, package units, and refrigeration equipment, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to BGIS quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver planned and reactive air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance across client facilities
- Conduct fault finding, repairs, and upgrades across HVAC&R systems
- Service and maintain split and ducted systems, chillers, package units, and refrigeration equipment
- Complete work orders within required timeframes using BGIS systems
- Support and mentor apprentices and junior technicians where required
- Oversee and coordinate subcontractors when required
- Ensure all works comply with WHS, compliance, environmental, and quality standards
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement and safe work practices across service delivery
Your Education, Experience & Skills
- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
- ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence (essential)
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Current Driver's Licence
- 1 or more years of post-trade air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance experience
- Strong fault-finding and mechanical/electrical maintenance skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Full working rights in Australia (essential)
