The Role:
If you are looking to inspire a client-obsessed, solution-focused, collaborative culture, this is the role.We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager based in Perth, servicing the business. This is a highly collaborative role requiring an excellent communicator to liaise both internally and externally to drive client success and our business growth.
With customer service as your ethos, your duties will include:
- Develop and continually improve the Business Development Strategy by conducting competitive analysis,leveragingclient insights, and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Develop and implement a Client Relationship ManagementStrategy, engaging in the broader business and teams,establishingand nurturing strategic partnerships and managing client relationships across regions, leading to new opportunities.
- Ability to effectively qualify and scope opportunities by assessing client needs, project requirements, and organizational fit to ensure successful delivery andmaximumclient value.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote Mining Plus's services.
- Maintain the client and lead database.
- Provide feedback, development opportunities, and mentoring business development skills to team members and business unit leaders.
- Develop competitive proposal submissions which conform to the Client's needs in the first instance and, whereappropriate, offer them alternatives to ensure the success of the Client's Project.
- As required, work closely with internal teams, including technical experts and project managers, to ensure the successful delivery of Client projects and proposals.
- Responsibleformanaging Client expectations all the way through constructing the proposal and submission.
- Oncethe proposal has beenwon,effectivehandover to the relevant project managerisrequired.
- Scheduling projects and managing subcontractors that may berequiredas part of the proposal.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience:10+ years of experience inbusiness development andproposal developmentwith a strong understanding of the mining industry and technical mining services.
- Communication:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build andmaintainstrong relationships with fellow team members and clients.
- Technical Background:A technical engineering background is essential, with Mining Engineering/ Geology preferred.
