We're growing our highperforming Water Division and are seeking motivated professionals to join our Sydney team. Our projects span the full lifecycle - from feasibility and planning through to detailed design and construction delivery - and we're committed to bringing innovation and value to every client partnership. About the role:

You'll join a diverse, collaborative group of specialists who design with community in mind, delivering excellence for water clients across metropolitan, regional, and remote areas. With a strong pipeline of water supply and sewerage projects for key NSW water authorities, this role offers the chance to contribute locally while also engaging in projects across the wider APAC region. Shape the future of water infrastructure across NSW and the APAC region.

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will provide professional engineering skills in the areas of water and wastewater infrastructure along with the following:

  • Deliver civil design - lead and execute engineering designs, calculations, report, ensuring high-quality technical outcomes for clients

  • Own the technical detail - develop calculations, specifications, and drawings that meet project and client expectations.

  • Assist in managing the project scope including cost estimates, budget, staffing and schedule.

  • Be the technical expert - provide specialist advice across civil engineering disciplines,

  • Partner with project leaders - support planning, coordination, peer review, and delivery to scope, budget, and quality.

  • Lead proposals - shape methodologies, value propositions, fee estimates, and risk reviews.

  • Support procurement - prepare tender documents and evaluate bids.

  • Mentor emerging talent - guide junior engineers and foster a collaborative learning environment.

  • Work collaboratively with our local clients and colleagues across New South Wales and the wider Asia pacific business.

  • Partner with a diverse client base from local government, industry and private development.

About you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.

  • Chartership or working towards is highly regarded.

  • Relevant professional experience in consulting or engineering within the water industry.

  • Strong technical experience in potable water supply, gravity and pumped sewerage systems, and recycled water networks.

  • Experience in pipeline design with pipe diameter up to DN1800 for conveyance project (experience in treatment plant project will be adding value, but not mandatory).

  • Track record in delivering projects with major water utilities in NSW.

  • Highly developed problem solving and negotiation skills to resolve disputes.

  • Strong understanding of D&C or alternative delivery projects and or program models.

  • Expertise in dealing with a range of clients and stakeholders including local authorities, government bodies and commercial companies.
