Team Leader (Warehousing)
Job Purpose
We are currently seeking a Team Leader - Warehouse to join our Logistics team based in Truganina. In this role, you will lead and support a team responsible for the accurate and timely receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of customer orders while ensuring a safe, productive, and customer-focused warehouse operation.
This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work overtime or weekends as required to support operational needs.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse employees to achieve operational and safety objectives.
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfilment, and dispatch.
- Monitor team performance to ensure productivity, accuracy, and customer service targets are achieved.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through effective stock control and cycle count processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
- Support training, onboarding, and performance management of team members.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse leadership, team leader, or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and fulfilment processes.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritise work and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
- Forklift Licence (LF) is desirable.
