Catering Assistant
$25.86 per hour as a permanent part-time employee
(new wages apply soon, $27.09 base rate effective 6th of July 2026)

THE POSITION
- Assist in food preparation and sandwich-making
- Serving breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and evening meals
- Following all Food and Safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and dining areas and with equipment
THE PERSON
- Experience in the healthcare or aged care sector is highly favoured, although not essential
- Police Clearance (or be willing to obtain it)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to monitor and improve service quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
